Firefighters responded to a reported fire in Walthamstow on Monday, prompting a large-scale emergency response involving the London Fire Brigade (LFB), the Metropolitan Police Service, and the London Ambulance Service.
Multiple fire engines and specialist emergency crews were dispatched after reports of smoke and flames in the Walthamstow area. Fire control operators mobilized crews from nearby stations, who arrived quickly to assess the situation and begin firefighting operations.
Upon arrival, incident commanders carried out an initial assessment to determine the size and severity of the fire, identify immediate hazards, and establish whether anyone remained inside the affected property. Firefighters immediately began suppression efforts while prioritizing the safety of nearby residents and surrounding buildings.
